Indies to look for this week
Independent action/thriller “Juncture” and a no budget horror film “Survival” hit DVD stores and shelves this week.
We haven’t seen either of these, but they’ve peaked our interest enough that we will be checking them out.
“Juncture” stars the sexy Kristine Blackport (”Secret Eye”) as a woman that has three months to live. What does she do to make the best of that time? Become a vigilante killer, of course. This DVD is coming your way via MTI Home Video and looks to pack a punch. Check the trailer for it out below:
The other film mentioned and also pictured at top is from York Entertainment. It was shot on DV and directed by Joe Francis. The film is supposed to be a love letter to 70’s and 80’s horror trash cinema. Francis, who co-wrote the film with Kevin Woods, delivers a vision of what could have been released on VHS had it been created in 1983.
